Qualifications: The qualified candidate must possess an advanced medical degree, an MD or DO, with either
a minimum of three to five years of post-graduate training in cardiovascular disease or comparative pharmaceutical experience in cardiovascular
disease management. A thorough knowledge of cardiovascular disease (including basic electrophysiology), management of patients (direct patient care
experience is preferred), and strong clinical skills is required. An understanding of clinical cardiology and current practice trends, legal and
regulatory requirements regarding medical communication in the pharmaceutical industry, and managed care is important. Approximately 30% travel
is required.
