In Timothy Ferriss’s best selling book, “The 4-Hour Workweek,” he suggests having only 3 items on your “to do” list and ending
multi-tasking. This is good advice especially for those of us in health care where it seems multi-tasking and endless tasks are a
way of life.
Timothy even suggests that adding more items to your “to do” list is just a deterrent to getting things
done. The idea is to have one (1) note with three (3) items that you would want to accomplish today. This allows
focus on the task, achievement, and satisfaction of a job completed.
"The 4-Hour Workweek" offers a radical paradigm shift on how we view our work and personal life. There are
pearls of wisdom that we can adopt regardless of whether or not we decide to live a life similar to Timothy Ferriss.
